TV in Japan @ SXSW in Austin, TX

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone who cared know that I’ll be attending SXSWi this year (this Fri - Tues). I’d love to meet/hear from/drink with fans if you’re going as well. I’m looking forward to seeing a ton of interesting talks (been learning a lot about online video as of late - not just blogging it) and getting to some of the parties as well.

If you’re going, drop your info in the comments here, email me at gavin.purcellATtvinjapan.com or just follow me on Twitter for updates.

Hope to see you there!

    Hello,

I am recruiting for native Japanese translator/proofreader for:

    - Onsite project in Austin
    - 3-4 week contract position (full time, 40 hrs/per week OR part time 20hrs/per week)
    - The candidate will be expected to work as a tester for the company’s website; this basically means that you will be working on their website, which is already translated into Japanese.
    - The main responsibilities would include proofreading and editing the content, and make the necessary changes where required. The candidate will perform quality check of the content.
    - The website if for a company within the Hospitality industry and the content for the website pertains the marketing and advertising text for hotels and resorts.
This is a high priority search.

If you are interested, kindly respond with a copy of your resume in word format to jsheth(at)transperfect(dot)com

If not, I would appreciate if you can pass on my email to other translators you know in Austin that might be interested in the project.

Either way, I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Jasmine
