Retro Tech In Japan: 1970s Toshiba TV With Cassette Player For Audio Recording

Not only are current gadgets way better in Japan, the gadgets of the past were as well!

Take for example this fantastic Toshiba TV model with built in cassetter recorder. While not exactly a video tape, it’s a pretty cool idea and I’m sure I would’ve love to have used this back in the day.

Oh my god! As a kid I recorded audio from TV programs by holding a tape recorder against the TV’s speakers… I so would’ve wanted this!

High priced electronics? There’s no need to pay high price with all that competition out there. I found a site called sellfourless.com that really has low prices. It’s a new site, but I understand it’s adding new gear daily to compete with the major chains.
