The Next Great Weird Japanese Video Game - Onsei Kanjou Sokuteiki: Kokoro Scan
The Japanese video game industry has rarely treated me wrong. Sure, there was Killer7 which was probably the both the most beautiful and frustrating game of all time. For the most part they’ve surprised me in ways I never thought possible.
Case in point: Sega’s new DS Game Onsei Kanjou Sokuteiki: Kokoro Scan
The game will use the built-in mic on the DS to analyze your voice to determine your mood and then do some sort of digital pop-psychology to tell you how you’re feeling. It’s a innovative use of the DS technology and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
As cool as that sounds, it doesn’t even compare to what the trailer of the game. If playing the game is even half as awesome as the watching animated guitar-playing bears dancing to J-Pop intercut with real-life footage, I’ll take two.
