‘I Love You’ - Classic Japanese Commercial With Strange Ending

This is how you sell cute to the masses. And some kind of really confusing ending. On TV. In Japan.

NOTE: I’m going to give this the benefit of the doubt but I’ve got to imagine that even back then that last shot was probably a pretty bad idea.

they’re trying to make it a play on words, because “yuu” means “hot water” in japanese. I don’t know if that makes it more or less creepy.

huh….yeah ok…japanese…strange… but understandable…also the guy looked a litle akward in the bath…”hmmm…i know its a camircial…but we are in a bath…hmmm”
