The pillows is fun-rock, perfect for the summer, bright happy, energetic and catchy… probably the furthest thing from emo. Ladytron’s a fine band, but they are closer to emo than The Pillows. Your comment just reeks of hipster-snob-wannabe attitude. If you’re going to be a hipster snob, at least name a more obscure and “experimental” band than Ladytron… Or something like The Arctic Monkeys and Architecture in Helsinki. Basically, you fail.

Agreed. And Ladybird Girl rocks! Even though they are not my favorite band, The Pillows is undeniably one of the greatest bands out there!
