This is how you make me smile. And, if you give me more information, make me jump for joy. On TV. In Japan.

Wow, good find- it’s got a Shibuya-kei kinda sound to my ears. Marking for further investigation.

Also, you should make this textarea wider cuz it’s really cramped!

Plus-Tech Squeeze Box was the first wave of neo-Shibuyakei bands (along with capsule, PINE*am, Sonic Coaster Pop, etc.), putting out their first album FAKEVOX in 2000 (where the video came from). They have have only released one other album, CARTOOM!, but their music has also showed up in British commercials, movies, and the latest version of DDR.

Plus-Tech Squeeze Box are indeed superb, and it’s worth getting hold of both their albums (it’s been 3 years since Cartooom - too long!). For more awesomeness (and the reason I got into them in the first place), check out their performance from Adam and Joe Go Tokyo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IduCbK76Buc

The adam and joe show’s debut of the band originally got me into them, although they clearly needed to shoot the sound editor they had on that show, because polysics sounded awful and ofc their not ^^
