Ok, so I didn’t want to do this because I haven’t technically finished this drama, but I feel it is worth reccommending right now regardless of its state of completion.

LIAR GAME doesn’t particularly have a deep plot. There is a problem, there is lying, a lot of money is at stake, and some innocent girl gets caught in the middle.

What makes this show worth watching is how the artistic direction works. The use of color, the dry humor, and the wacky character studies drive this to be something other than yet another throwaway drama about an underdog overcoming terrible odds.

This clip is from episode 4. Keep in mind, the female character is truly THAT clueless. They are in a high stakes game, tension is driving people mad, and this is a joking interlude to lighten the mood.
