Visual kei fashion disturbs me, and there have been many series about warm-and-fuzzy "men" in recent years, not to mention the "boyish" pop stars; but I haven't seen the same kind of gay-intensive programming that we have in America. Do you think the crossdresser characters are there for laughs and are therefore anti-gay, or are they pro-gay incursions on the Japanese lifestyle?
