Amazing Tour of the Bandai Factory - 3D Printing of Toys Included!

I have always been a huge fan of factory video footage. Something in my brain gets all excited when I see conveyor belts churning out lots of versions of the same thing. From my first memories of Mr. Roger’s factory tours to footage of the Intel factory making silicon chips Yes, I am aware that this is weird.

That said, this is amazing! It’s a tour of the Bandai factory in Tokyo from a Japanese TV show. The hosts are pretty excited as they’re dressed up Gundam-style but to me what’s so great are all the awesome machines. It’s a sneak peak into the future of manufacturing, three-dimensional printing!

Big thanks for this to one of my favorite Japanese TV blogs, the SWFBlog from Japan.

I would love to have cosplay costume as my work uniform.

Also, for the HaroPro fans out there, you can catch a glimpse of Nono near the end.
