Pythagoras Switch - Father Switch!
This is how you teach multicultural relationships to kids. With a remote controlled western-hemisphere father. And some really awesome other stuff that the kids will love. On TV. In Japan.
P.S. I’ve got to find a way to import this on DVD and sell it to American parents. It’s so totally multicultural. I would hold it up to anything Children’s Television Workshop is doing currently.

If you do find a way to import this on DVD, let me know. Hell, I would watch it sans children! But also, I think my friends’ kids would love it.

That was really awesome to have a nice long clip of the show. I’m actually learning japanese now, and clips like this can help me learn and stay entertained!

Its easy to put it on a DVD if you have a mac.
get a you tube plugin that lets you download the file. convert it to something easy to work with (you can use isquint) and pop it into iDvd. let the PIT TA GORA SUICHI live on!

I think the YouTube users who post clips from Pitakora Suichi get their shows from Japan TV (which many American digital TV outlets offer).

I just found your site today. And Pythagoras Switch renews my failing faith in television by being, manifestly, full of win. And robots.
