Live Action Fashion Show for Anime Otaku

There’s a scene a lot like this in Densha Otoko but I’d never seen a real one until now.

Basically, it breaks down into three parts.

1. Anime/Manga Otaku are obsessed with the characters from their favorite shows/books.
2. Show Producers/Book Publishers realize this and they want to stir their loins even more.
3. Actresses are hired to portray the heroines in real life “fashion” shows.

When I’m over in Tokyo (mid-September) I’d love to get into one of these. It’s definitely another sneak peek behind the curtain.
