The Japanese police doing what they do best, running from trouble. They are infamous for their incompetence. After this event PM Koizumi was disgusted and emberassed.

Isn’t it amazing how they’re laughing at it? Is it that bad over there?
I’ve never heard that Japanese cops were incompetent but it definitely seems like they didn’t handle that situation very well. Not really well at all.
