those candies are acutally ramune (a sprite like japanese soda) flavored, and have a fizz comparable to pop rocks. Te reason I say this is because I dont think mentos would do anything in a bottle of soda, other then sit there.

He’s actually a former politician and now tv comedian. Can’t recall his name at the moment but I’m fairly certain he isn’t all that old either.
